A Journey Of Strength: The Story Of Mina Lama
In the quiet hills of Chaurideurali-02, Kavre, 33-year-old Mina Lama began feeling strong abdominal pain — the sign her baby was coming. But reaching help wasn’t easy. The nearest ambulance point was a 1.5-hour walk away, and Mina had to make that journey on foot, while in labor.
With her family by her side and courage in her heart, she reached the ambulance point after a tough trek. From there, she was taken to a health facility where her condition was stable for a normal delivery.
At 4:50 PM on 20th Shrawan, 2082 (July 24, 2025), Mina gave birth to a healthy 3.7 kg baby. Her husband, Yubraj Yonjan, and the medical team welcomed the new life with joy.
