A dental health awareness and checkup program was successfully conducted at 25th Jan 2026,  Antarstriya Yuwa Barsha Secondary School, located in Doramba Sailung Rural Municipality–7. The program was organized with the aim of promoting oral hygiene and raising awareness about the importance of dental health among students.

Total 59 students were examined. Among them 10 students were found to have carious and mobile teeth which required extractin so extraction were done amonth these studnets in the school itself. Besides this 30 students had caries while 15 students had stain and calculus that needed restoration (filling) and scaling (cleaning) respectively. Hence, they were asked to visit our hospita for further treatment.

With the valuable support and coordination of the school principal, Mr. Kamal Bikram Lama, our dental team visited each classroom individually. During these sessions, students were educated about oral health, proper dental care practices, and the long-term importance of maintaining healthy teeth. Students were also kindly requested to visit the hospital for necessary follow-up treatments.

We would like to express our special gratitude to the entire school family for the warm welcome and heartfelt farewell extended to our team. Their kindness, cooperation, and hospitality truly motivated us and added extra energy to our service.

This dental program would not have been successful without the active support of the school teachers, students, and the dedicated hospital staff of DCWC Community Hospital who were present throughout the program.
