On 5th February 2026 (2082-10-22 B.S.), a School Blood Group Identification Program was successfully conducted in Chaurideurali Gaupalika-1, Wangthali, with the active participation of local schools, health professionals, and community members. This meaningful program aimed to raise awareness about blood groups, blood compatibility, and the importance of blood donation from an early age.
Warm Welcome and Community Support
The program was warmly welcomed by Shree Tarlamo Basic School, Wangthali. The school’s Headmaster, Mr. Gunja Man Lama, along with the entire school family, showed great enthusiasm and cooperation. Their hospitality and readiness to support health-related services created a positive environment for the successful execution of the program.
With the disciplined participation of students and the strong support of teachers, blood group identification was successfully carried out for 33 students at Shree Tarlamo Basic School.
Similarly, with the cooperation of disciplined students and teachers from Suryadaya Secondary School, also located in Chaurideurali Gaupalika-1, Wangthali, blood group identification was conducted for 70 students.

Blood Group Compatibility Awareness Session
Along with blood group testing, an informative session was conducted to help students and teachers understand who can donate blood to whom and which blood groups are compatible. This knowledge is essential during medical emergencies and helps build a responsible and informed community.
